Gor’s career includes involvement in John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign and subsequent work with Senator Rand Paul.
Gor served as the Chief of Staff for the Trump Victory Finance Committee in June 2020, followed by a role as an advisor and book publishing manager for Donald Trump Jr. In November 2024, Trump appointed Gor as the White House Director of Personnel.
Gor has been connected to a feud between Elon Musk and Trump, with Musk referring to Gor as a ‘snake.’ This stemmed from a claim that Gor had not completed required security clearance documentation.
