The victims included Sri Venkat Bejugam, his wife Tejaswini Cholleti, and their two children, Siddarth and Mrida Bejugam. The accident happened when their car collided head-on with a mini truck. The impact caused the car to catch fire, complicating identification. Authorities are relying on forensic analysis and dental records to confirm the identities of the deceased. The family was on vacation in the US and returning to Dallas after a visit to relatives. The Indian Consulate is working alongside US officials to arrange the repatriation of the bodies.
