Suffolk County officers introduced a brand new sufferer within the Gilgo Seaside, New York, serial killer investigation Friday.
Talking at a press convention, Suffolk County District Lawyer Raymond A. Tierney introduced that government had known Karen Vergata, 34, because the sufferer whose stays had been discovered on Fireplace Island in 1996.
In step with Tierney, Vergata’s ft and legs had been discovered on April 20, 1996, at the seashores of Fireplace Island. Vergata’s cranium was once found out 15 years later, on April 11, 2011.
No fees were filed towards Gilgo Seaside suspect Rex Heuermann in Vergata’s case as of but, Tierney stated.
