In a recent move, Donald Trump has seemingly reignited the debate surrounding Joe Biden’s use of an autopen, displaying an image of the device in place of Biden’s portrait on the Presidential Wall of Fame at the White House. This wall typically features portraits of all U.S. presidents. Trump has consistently criticized Biden, accusing him of using the autopen for signing various documents, including pardons.
The display, located in the West Wing Colonnade, has portraits in golden frames. Trump’s communications advisor Margo Martin shared a video on X, which quickly gained traction. Trump has consistently suggested, without any supporting evidence, that Biden used the autopen to mask his health condition. Trump commented on the inclusion of the autopen picture. The White House also released a photo of Trump looking at the display. Trump’s own portraits are on either side of the autopen image, one representing his 45th and the other, his 47th presidency. The autopen display will be seen by the guests attending the dinner at the Rose Garden on Wednesday.
