
Bangladesh is actively working to build stronger relationships with Muslim nations. They are deepening connections with key advisors such as Mohammad Saudi and the UAE. They are also increasing trade and military cooperation with Pakistan. Now, their focus is on another Muslim country. The Bangladeshi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Chief Advisor Professor Mohammad Yunus is scheduled to depart for Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
The visit is occurring at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. According to reports, Anwar Ibrahim is a long-time friend and supporter of Yunus, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.
News sources indicate that Bangladesh and Malaysia will have high-level discussions in Putrajaya on Tuesday. The aim is to strengthen bilateral ties and to enhance cooperation across sectors like trade, investment, and labor.
