On social media, Zelensky hailed the Middle East deal as an ‘outstanding achievement,’ directly correlating its success to the possibility of ending conflicts in other regions, including the war instigated by Russia. ‘If a war can be stopped in one region, then surely other wars can be stopped as well, including the Russian war,’ he stated.
