A gathering of the District Water Application Committee was once held beneath the chairmanship of MLA Dr KK Dhruv within the Collectorate’s Arpa assembly corridor nowadays. Within the assembly, Collector Sushri Richa Prakash Chowdhary apprised in regards to the scenario of reservoir-wise water logging in irrigation reservoirs of the district for discharge and irrigation. He knowledgeable that the common water-logging of the reservoirs of the district is 92.32 %.
MLA Dr. Dhruv gave directions to extend the realm of rabi plants and horticulture plants but even so paddy to extend the source of revenue of the farmers. Within the assembly, Government Engineer Water Sources Mr. Madhu Chandra stated that towards the objective of 16 thousand 666 hectare for Kharif irrigation within the 12 months 2022-23, irrigation was once completed in 12 thousand 676 hectare from 75 finished and 5 under-construction irrigation schemes of the district. He knowledgeable that within the 12 months 2022-23, a goal has been set to irrigate 1344 hectare space in Rabi season from 18 out of 75 built reservoirs and a couple of out of five beneath structure reservoirs. Deputy Director Agriculture Mr. Deepak Nayak and Deputy Director Horticulture Mr. Nidhan Kushwaha and different officials have been provide within the assembly.
