People are troubled by power cuts in the scorching heat, residents of the city warned of fierce agitation

Abhishek Semar, Takhatpur. Navtaap is going on in Chhattisgarh these days. We are facing strong sunlight and severe heat since morning. In such a situation, the residents of Takhatpur are in a bad condition due to continuous power cuts.

Takhatpur residents said that while the entire state is burning in the intense heat of Navtaap, the electricity department is cutting power for several hours continuously without any announcement. Due to which they are facing a lot of problems.

Without electricity, the citizens are neither able to live peacefully in their homes nor are they able to sit peacefully anywhere outside due to the scorching heat. The traders are also facing great difficulty in doing business while staying in their shops. The income of the shopkeepers is also getting affected a lot.

Let us tell you, the power cuts have been going on for the past several months. But now, even in the situation of Navtaap, the residents of the city are extremely angry about the power cuts by the department without any warning. On Monday, the Congressmen have submitted a memorandum to the AE regarding the problem of power cuts. They have warned of a fierce agitation if the power system is not rectified within a week.

On the other hand, the electricity department has been shirking its responsibility in this matter for several months by citing the problem of overload.
