A big allegation has been made against actress Digangana Suryavanshi and a complaint of fraud has been filed against her with the police. The actress has accused Akshay Kumar of committing fraud in her name. The makers of ‘Showstopper’ have filed a complaint against Digangana Suryavanshi with the police station under sections 420 and 406 of the IPC.
Actress did fraud in the name of Akshay Kumar
The actress has been accused of fraud as well as criminal breach of trust. The complaint claims that actress Digangana Suryavanshi has committed fraud in the name of Akshay Kumar. In the police complaint, Manish Harishankar has said that Digangana Suryavanshi had first sought an MoU. According to the complaint, the actress had falsely claimed that Akshay Kumar and his company would be the presenters of Showstopper. Digangana Suryavanshi cheated the makers
According to the police complaint, Manish Harishankar has also revealed that Digangana Suryavanshi had made false statements about the show in the media some time ago and tried to tarnish the reputation of the project. It was further said that the actress had sought an MoU, so that she could talk to Akshay Kumar and include him as the host of the show. During this deal, the actress had demanded Rs 75 lakh for herself and Rs 6 crore in the name of Akshay Kumar. The complaint also states that the actress allegedly told Manish Harishankar that she had spoken to the superstar and two members of his office wanted to watch the show. Digangana Suryavanshi fraud case
The makers of ‘Showstopper’ revealed that when they asked Akshay to meet and talk on the phone, the actress made excuses, after which they decided to file a complaint against her. Advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt, representing MH Films and director Manish Harishankar, has confirmed the incidents. A complaint has been lodged at the Amboli police station. Advocate Falguni said that actress Digangana Suryavanshi had impersonated actor Akshay Kumar as the show presenter for the show’s ‘Showstopper’.
