James Bond actor Daniel Craig will get New 12 months Honour for spies, Twitter says ‘the Queen has damaged custom’

Daniel Craig, the actor who performs the fictitious undercover agent James Bond in motion pictures, has been made a Spouse of the Order of St. Michael and St. George (CMG) in the United Kingdom’s annual New 12 months Honours Checklist.

The dignity, typically conferred upon real-life spies and diplomats, could also be bestowed upon writer Ian Fleming’s 007 fictional personality in his books.

Craig, 53, who’s from Chester in England, has been recognised for services and products to movie and theatre.
