2018 Alwar lynching case:  4 accused of killing Rakbar Khan get 7-year imprisonment

JAIPUR: 4 accused within the 2018 Rakbar Khan mob lynching case had been sentenced to seven years of imprisonment through a courtroom in Rajasthan’s Alwar. One accused, Naval Kishor Sharma, a member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, was once acquitted within the case because of loss of proof.

Rakbar Khan was once lynched to dying in Rajasthan’s Alwar district in 2018 on suspicion of cow smuggling.

Listening to the subject, the extra district pass judgement on court-1 held 4 accused responsible underneath Indian Penal Code sections 341 (wrongful restraint) and 304(1) (culpable murder now not amounting to homicide, Public Prosecutor Ashok Sharma mentioned.

The courtroom sentenced them to seven years imprisonment, he mentioned and added that Naval Kishor was once acquitted because of loss of enough proof.

The autopsy record of Khan mentioned that he succumbed to a couple of accidents following the brutal assault. Rakbar Khan’s lynching induced a debate around the political spectrum.
