NCW writes to House Minister Amit Shah on alleged atrocities towards ladies in West Bengal

NEW DELHI: The Nationwide Fee for Girls has written to Union House Minister Amit Shah in quest of his intervention within the alleged brutalities and violence dedicated towards ladies in West Bengal.

The NCW mentioned it has won a joint memorandum from the All India Democratic Girls’s Affiliation, Nationwide Federation of Indian Girls and All India Modern Girls’s Affiliation claiming that girls in West Bengal are dealing with a particularly insecure surroundings and activists of the ruling TMC have unleashed a reign of terror.

The memorandum, which has a district-wise checklist of incidents of atrocities towards ladies, sought rapid steps to finish the alleged brutalities and violence towards them, the NCW mentioned.

It has additionally been alleged that the state management and police are both silent spectators or in connivance with the perpetrators.

In some incidents, male police staff have misbehaved and molested ladies, in keeping with the memorandum.

The ladies’s associations have asked the NCW to interfere within the topic.

The Fee mentioned this can be very concerned about the expanding instances of violence and brutalities towards ladies within the state.

“Chairperson Rekha Sharma has written to the house minister in quest of intervention within the topic to make sure the security and safety of the ladies within the state.
