NEW DELHI: Top Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday praised Indian weightlifter Sanket Sargar for his “remarkable effort” after he opened the rustic’s medal depend on the Commonwealth Video games through claiming a silver.
Sargar (21) received the silver within the males’s 55 kg class. Malaysia’s Mohamad Aniq (249 kg) smashed the Video games report in blank and jerk as he lifted 249 kg (107 kg + 142 kg) to win the gold, whilst Sri Lanka’s Dilanka Isuru Kumara clinched the bronze with 225 kg (105 kg + 120 kg).
