Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored the meritorious students of the state in a program organized in Lok Bhavan on Saturday. Along with this, CM Yogi also started the process of transferring an amount of Rs 1200 per student to the bank account of their parents/guardians through DBT for the purchase of dress, shoes, socks, sweaters, stationery and school bags.

During this, CM Yogi said that it is the responsibility of all of us that no student should be deprived of school. We should discharge this responsibility, this is the biggest service to the country. In Shrimad Bhagwat Gita, educating someone is considered the most sacred work. He told the teachers and officials associated with the education department that you are associated with that sacred work. Your conduct should not be like a government officer, but as a guide of the society, as a teacher. CM Yogi said that our schools should be established as new centers of innovation and research, our students should have the passion to face the toughest challenges, we should prepare ourselves for this.

After felicitating the meritorious students, CM Yogi said that what can be a bigger thing for a Guru than that the people he guided are making him proud by achieving high positions in the country, state and district. Through these programs, we are felicitating our talented students and presenting them as role models in front of the new generation that if they also work hard like this, they will also get respect. Giving the mantra of success to the students, CM Yogi said that no matter which field you want to go in life, remember that there is no alternative to hard work. A person who takes the path of shortcuts in life can never achieve his destination. Therefore, one should work as hard as he can in life. The students who worked hard, their names came in the merit. Success also tells us that we have reached our destination, our direction is right, we should not get confused about the direction.

He said that in the merit list of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education’s high school examination, out of a total of 17, there are 4 boys and 13 girls. In the intermediate merit list, out of a total of 36, there are 14 boys and 22 girls.

In the merit list of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad’s high school exam, out of 11, 2 are boys and 9 are girls. In intermediate merit list of 11, one boy and 10 are girls. In CBSE’s 10th merit list, out of 26 students of the state, 11 are boys and 15 are girls. In 10+2, out of 22, there are 3 boys and 19 are girls. In ICSE, out of 30, there are 18 boys and 12 girls, while in 10+2, out of 17, there are 5 boys and 12 are girls. The government is providing certificates, tablets and one lakh rupees in cash to all these meritorious students. Along with this, the road of the village or locality where these students belong will be named after them or the road construction work will be done at the government level.
