T20 World Cup 2024: India and South Africa are to clash in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024. Both of them are the most successful teams of this season, who are undefeated so far, but the title match is under the shadow of rain. In such a situation, know what will happen if the match does not take place.

The excitement of the T20 World Cup 2024 is at its peak. The last i.e. the title match of this season is to be played on 29 June, in which the teams of India and South Africa, who are undefeated so far, will face each other. This match will be played at Kensington Oval ground in Bridgetown, Barbados, which the whole world is eager to watch. While Team India is one step away from winning its second title, South Africa is looking eager to open its title account in this mega tournament. However, rain can spoil the fun of this great match.

The shadow of rain is looming over the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024, reports are claiming that the match can also be washed out due to rain, as there are similar chances of rain in Barbados on Saturday and Sunday. While there is a 78 percent chance of rain on Saturday, there is a 61 percent chance of rain for June 30 i.e. Reserve Day. Now you need to know what will happen if it rains on both these days and the match does not take place.

10-10 overs required from both sides for the result (IND vs SA Final)

This title battle is to be held between India and South Africa on 29 June at Kensington Oval ground in Barbados. ICC has kept a reserve day for this match. That is, if the match is not held on 29th, then an attempt will be made to complete it on 30th. Along with this, 90 minutes of extra time has also been given. For the match to take place, at least 10-10 overs from both sides are necessary.

If the match doesn’t happen then who will become the champion?

Suppose if it rains on 29th and 30th June and the match is not held then what will happen? In such a condition, according to the rules, both the teams will be declared joint winners. Because this season both the teams have performed well. Neither Africa lost a single match nor Team India lost any match.
