Olympic bronze medal profitable India males’s hockey goalkeeper PR Sreejesh is in race to win the celebrated Global Video games Athlete of the Yr award after being nominated for the dignity.
The winner can be decided on following a web based balloting procedure which starts on January 10 and ends of January 31.
Elected FIH Goalkeeper of the Yr for 2021, Sreejesh — a triple Olympian with over 240 world appearances — has loved an outstanding twelve months, generating his highest shape to assist his group declare a historical bronze on the Tokyo Video games.

If Sreejesh manages to win, he would be the 2nd hockey participant from the rustic to bag the name after girls’s group skipper Rani Rampal.
Rani was the first-ever hockey participant to win the award in 2020.
A complete of 24 athletes had been nominated for the award.
